Twins Suffer 7-3 Home Defeat
Nelson Cruz, who is tied for 9th in the GCL with a 1.35 WHIP, had a strong outing for the Boston (GCL) Red Sox against the Minnesota (GCL) Twins at Hammond Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 7-3 win. The Red Sox improved their record to 26-32 with the win over Minnesota (GCL).

Rob Barber, who is tied for 8th in the GCL in extra base hits with 32, helped out the Boston (GCL) cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 4 with a double and a walk.

"That was a really good outing by Nelson," said Boston (GCL) manager Kenny Holmberg.
