Red Sox Pull Out Late Win, 3-2
The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of FCL fans at JetBlue Park.

FCL Red Sox starter Kevin Walters turned in a top-notch performance against the FCL Orioles at JetBlue Park. The result was a win for the Red Sox, 3-2. The winner was Brad Toai in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Chris Watson took the loss. Luis Martínez picked up the save for FCL, his 12th of the year.

Jeff Good chipped in for FCL, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the bottom of the eighth inning. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 4 with a double.

"Kevin is a gamer," said FCL manager Kenny Holmberg.

The triumph puts FCL at 33-18 for the season.
