The New York A2 (GCL) Yankees2 eked out a 2-1 win versus the Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays at Timberwolves Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Mac Kramer. He was terrific. Bob Wolfe, now 4-2, was credited with the win. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit, while striking out 2 and walking 0. The last-place Blue Jays have lost 6 straight games.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when New York A2 (GCL) third baseman Bob Walters, facing Eugene Howe, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Yankees2 the 2-1 win.

"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Kramer.
