The FCL Astros overcame a good performance by FCL left fielder Joe Rosemond to knock off FCL, 5-4, at Ballpark of Belvedere. Rosemond went 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI. By defeating FCL, the third-place Astros improved to 18-26.

José Morales went 2 for 2 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs for FCL. The 18-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Sam Anderson. It was his 6th RBI of the season.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Morales said after the game.
