Walters, Red Sox Get Tidy 2-0 Win Over FCL
|
The rain came, as predicted, but the FCL Red Sox and FCL Pirates were able to complete their ballgame.
FCL got a strong outing from Kevin Walters as the Red Sox defeated the FCL Pirates, 2-0, at JetBlue Park. With the win, FCL has a record of 27-16. FCL falls to 14-29.
Walters, the FCL left-hander, went 7 innings, allowing no runs on 4 hits. He collected 11 strikeouts.
"Kevin had swing-and-miss stuff," said FCL manager Kenny Holmberg.
