Pirates Pull Out Late-Game Win, 3-2
In a tight tilt between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the St. Louis Cardinals, Joe Taylor was the deciding factor. The Pittsburgh right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Joe Kaiser, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 14th save. The win for the Pirates lifted their record to 28-20.

Henry Correa had a direct impact on the outcome. Correa contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the eighth inning to put Pittsburgh up, 3-2.

"Joe did a heck of a job," said Pittsburgh manager Jose Mijares.
