The New York A2 (GCL) Yankees2 picked up a win at Timberwolves Stadium, knocking off the Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays, 4-2. Starting pitcher Lou Lane was an essential part of his team's success. Bob Wolfe earned the save, his 2nd, for the Yankees2. The Yankees2 raised their record to 12-22.

Bob Walters hit a 2-run triple off Jerry French in the bottom of the second, which put the Yankees2 in front, 2-0. Walters had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
