For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

Toronto (GCL) pitcher Vince Stanford did his part in helping his team defeat the New York A2 (GCL) Yankees2, 2-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. The win belonged to Kade Franklin in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Travis Glasson took the loss for New York A2 (GCL).

The decisive blow was delivered by Kevin Carter in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 17-year old right-handed pitcher Travis Glasson to win the game for Toronto (GCL). The home crowd went nuts.

"Vince is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said Toronto (GCL) manager Matt Carpenter.

The Blue Jays go to 9-14 with the win.
