Gusmán Clips Orioles for Cycle
Getting 4 hits in a game is no easy feat, but doing it to hit for the cycle is even more rare.

Miguel Angel Gusmán of the Minnesota (GCL) Twins pulled it off today at Hammond Stadium, going 4-for-6 against the Baltimore (GCL) Orioles. His batting escapades sparked the Twins to a 22-1 victory.

Gusmán tallied 2 runs and drove in 6 during the game. Hitting for the cycle is particularly rare because of the different skills required - enough power for a home run, enough speed for a triple and enough patience at the plate to see at least four hittable balls.

"It just happened," Gusmán said to reporters after the win. "Must have been fate or something, I wasn't expecting it. Heck, I wasn't even really trying for it."

Miguel Angel Gusmán hit a two-run triple in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Joe Harris in the 8th.

Currently Gusmán is batting .324 with 3 home runs and 14 RBIs.
