Twins Come Back Late, Nip Orioles

The Baltimore (GCL) Orioles wasted an impressive 5.2-inning effort from starter Conan Bush, falling 2-1 to the Minnesota (GCL) Twins at Hammond Stadium. Minnesota (GCL) reliever Mike Martin picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Tim Holsten took the loss. The Twins, now 2-9, have not found much traction so far in 2023.
Brad Bowers was the walk-off hero for Minnesota (GCL). With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Twins right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Not to be Captain Obvious," said Baltimore (GCL) manager Carlos Subero, "but we need to push more runs across the plate."
