Miami (GCL) Gets 8-1 Win Against Cardinals
The St. Louis (GCL) Cardinals went down to defeat to Bubba Shoemaker and his Miami (GCL) teammates. The final score was 8-1 in favor of the Marlins. Shoemaker went 6.1 innings to notch the win. Joe Collins had a big grand slam home run for the Marlins in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Miami (GCL) leading 3-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Léo Le Bars and swatted a home run to left.
