Behind a fine performance from Brad McBride, the New York Yankees knocked off the New York Mets, 4-3. McBride was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Yankees. New York is now 22-23, while New York is 20-24.
Early in the game, McBride had a 3-run home run for New York. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Yankees on top, 3-0.
