Scott Blasts Spikes, Renegades Take Game 4, 15-5
The Hudson Valley Renegades and the State College Spikes will take the Round 1 to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Renegades beat the Spikes, 15-5, at Dutchess Stadium to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Hudson Valley first baseman Alvin Scott was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 5.

Hugh Webb helped out the Hudson Valley cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the left fielder was 3 for 5 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Hudson Valley manager Tracy McGrady.

Game 5 is scheduled for Thursday at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park in State College.
