Crosscutters Deal Spinners 8-7 Loss
The Williamsport Crosscutters overcame a good performance by Lowell right fielder Jeremy Vickers to knock off Lowell, 8-7, at Edward A. LeLacheur Park. Vickers went 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. Williamsport leads the Pinckney Division by 10 games.

Williamsport first baseman Jesús Córdova had a nice game. In the top of the first inning with one out, he belted a 2-run home run for the Crosscutters. It made the score 3-0, Williamsport. For the game, Córdova was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"I felt good up there," said Córdova. "I saw the ball well."
