Kingsport pitcher Steve Randolph had a large part in his team subduing the Pulaski Yankees, 4-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. Picking up the save was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Steve Perkins. Kingsport leads the West by 10½ games.
