Rays 11-6 Winners Versus Pulaski
The 11-6 Princeton win over Pulaski was due largely to Jeff Pope. The Rays third baseman went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Princeton leads the East by 3 games.

Walt Burch had a big grand slam home run for the Rays in the bottom of the second inning. With Princeton trailing 2-1 and the bases loaded, he sized up a fastball from 21-year old right-handed pitcher Greg Saunders and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Rays on top, 5-2.

"We're in for a photo finish, I think," said Pope. "Time to play our best ball."
