Wilson goes 4-for-4, Leads Princeton to 6-2 Win
|
The Princeton Rays beat the Burlington Royals, 6-2, at H.P. Hunnicutt Field. Princeton first baseman Bobby Wilson collected 1 single and 3 doubles with 2 RBI. Princeton is now 23-15, Burlington 19-19.
With Princeton trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Wilson hit a fastball from Dan Wiggins for a 2-run double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Rays ahead, 2-1.
Princeton manager Scooter Tucker was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
