Bluefield Blue Jays pitcher Jake Campbell was in fine form, leading his team past the Burlington Royals, 3-0. Bluefield bumps their record to 15-13 with the win.

It could have been a different outcome for Bluefield, had it not been for Loren Allen, the 19-year old first baseman . Allen contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the third inning to put Bluefield up, 1-0.

"Main thing is I want the team to win," Campbell told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
