Spencer Propels Kingsport Offense in 10-3 Rout
Led by 22-year-old Don Spencer, the Kingsport Mets knocked off the Greeneville Astros, 10-3. Spencer was 4-5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Mets. The winning pitcher was 20-year old left-handed pitcher Raúl Lópes.
