Mets Topple Astros with Late Rally

Greeneville got a valiant performance from pitcher Stu Hewer, but it wasn't enough to beat the Kingsport Mets. Kingsport won the game, 4-1. Hewer threw 7.2 innings of 2-hit ball for the losing team. The win puts Kingsport at 8-3.
Jake McFadden, the 18-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. McFadden contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put Kingsport up, 3-1.
"We take it day by day here," said McFadden, "and today was a good one for us."
