Bennett Silences Bristol Bats
|
Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Elizabethton Twins take on the Bristol Pirates.
Elizabethton picked up a win at Joe O'Brien Field, bumping off the Bristol Pirates, 3-0. Pitcher Lou Bennett was a major reason the Twins emerged victorious. Bristol drops to 2-6.
Bennett, now 2-0, scattered 1 hit over 7 innings for the Twins.
"I was able to really locate my pitches tonight," said Bennett.
