Loss to Cyclones Extends Auburn Losing Streak
The Brooklyn Cyclones beat the Auburn Doubledays, 4-1. Brooklyn pitcher and Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, native Tommy Simmons led the way. The losing skid has reached 9 games for Auburn.

One of the stars of the game was Brooklyn second baseman Chris Macías. In the top of the fourth with two out, he got a curveball from Sergio Román and hit a solo home run. That made the score 2-0 in favor of the Cyclones.

"Everyone's kind of edgy right now," said losing manager Takanobu Sato, "but nothing a couple of wins wouldn't cure."
