Canadians Score 10-3 Win Over Volcanoes
The Vancouver Canadians picked up a win at Nat Bailey Stadium, knocking off the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, 10-3. Starting pitcher Darren Nelson was a big reason why. The victory gives Vancouver a record of 34-27.

Pepe Ortega hit a 2-run double off Chris Metcalf in the bottom of the third, which put the Canadians in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Ortega had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

"I was just trying to execute one pitch at a time," said Nelson.
