AquaSox 2B Morgan goes 3-for-4 in Win
The Eugene Emeralds and Everett AquaSox riveted fans at Everett Memorial Stadium.

The Everett AquaSox trumped the Eugene Emeralds, 13-7, at Everett Memorial Stadium. Everett shortstop Marc Morgan was terrific. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. António Reyes, credited with the win in relief, is now 4-3. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2.1 innings.

Jeff McCormick, who is tied for 8th in the NWL in RBI with 31, came through for Everett with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the seventh. The third baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 4 RBI.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Morgan, "one at-bat at a time."

Everett is 24-18 and Eugene, with the loss, 22-20.
