Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Eugene Emeralds and Boise Hawks.

Kurt Pike was a major factor in the 9-1 Eugene win over Boise. The Emeralds left fielder was 4-5 with 2 triples and a double. He scored 3 runs. Terrence Brewer earned the win to go to 1-5.
