Stan Lester imposed his will on the Blue Jays from the get-go. Relying mainly on his slider, the right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 Pulaski triumph. Bluefield falls to 2-4.

The Blue Jays had little chance against Lester, who overpowered Bluefield hitters and struck out 12.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Lester said.
