Doubledays Earn Win with Late Rally
The Auburn Doubledays clipped the Hudson Valley Renegades, 5-4, in 10 innings at Dutchess Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Auburn pitcher and Haverford Township, Pennsylvania, native Jim Richmond. The win was credited to Cristóbal García in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Jeff Ellison took the loss. With the win, Auburn has a record of 36-37. Hudson Valley falls to 39-34.

Auburn used a timely hit from Tomás Garza to get the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Doubledays ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Both teams played hard," said Auburn manager Brandon Crawford.
