Behind the bravura of shortstop Luis Aragón, the State College Spikes topped the Aberdeen Ironbirds by the score of 21-7. Aragón was 4 for 7 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5 for the Spikes. State College, at 43-26, is 2½ games up in the Pinckney Division.

State College grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Aragón hit a grand slam home run off Dominic McConnell. His 5th home run of the season put the Spikes out in front, 6-2.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said State College manager Jimmy Alvarez.
