Muckdogs Lose to Yankees in Walk Off
Staten Island Yankees starter José Delgado turned in a sterling performance against the Batavia Muckdogs, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Robinson Salas, now 1-5, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 2 and walking 1. The Yankees raised their record to 28-41.

Eric Poole was the walk-off hero for Staten Island. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Yankees pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Delgado called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
