The Connecticut Tigers overcame a fine performance by Aberdeen designated hitter Wally Clark to defeat the Ironbirds, 11-9, at Ripken Stadium. Clark went 4 for 5 with 4 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Connecticut has run its win streak to 5 in a row.

Tyrone Hanna had a productive trip to the plate with one out in the top of the sixth inning. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run double, helping Connecticut to the win.
