It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Dylan Grimes -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Falcon Park and paced the 9-7 Scrappers win over the Auburn Doubledays.

After his dynamite batting performance, the Mahoning Valley second baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Dylan Grimes singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.

So far this season, Grimes is hitting .303 with 3 home runs.
