The first-place Williamsport Crosscutters took on the Connecticut Tigers in front of a spirited crowd.

Williamsport Crosscutters starter Tony Martínez was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Connecticut Tigers, 7-2. Martínez got the win, improving to 8-2. He allowed 9 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. Martínez allowed 2 runs.
