Lowell Victorious, 6-1, Versus Tri-City
|
Spirited fans greeted the Tri-City ValleyCats for their clash with the Lowell Spinners.
The Lowell Spinners handed the Tri-City ValleyCats a 6-1 defeat at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. Second Baseman Mike Lewis starred for Lowell. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. So far in 2025, Lowell is 24-29.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Aguostinho Padia? The Lowell third baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Spinners on top, 3-1. For the game, Padia had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"Pleased with the effort and the win," said Spinners manager Tony Castillo.
