The Williamsport Crosscutters cruised to a win over the Staten Island Yankees, 12-4, at Richmond County Bank Ballpark. Jim Fox led the way, going 2-for-4 for Williamsport. The Yankees, at 24-31, have lost 5 in a row.
In the top of the fourth inning with one out, Williamsport left fielder Ben Little drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It made the score 3-1, Crosscutters. For the day, Little drew 1 walk in 2 trips to the plate.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Williamsport manager Jeff Mathis.
