The Aberdeen Ironbirds bumped off the Brooklyn Cyclones, 10-4, at Ripken Stadium. Shawn Baker hit 1 single and 2 doubles. He also had 2 RBI. Aberdeen is now 25-22, Brooklyn 24-23.

In the bottom of the fifth, Christian Nygård delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Aberdeen second baseman hit a 2-run single, putting the Ironbirds in front, 10-4.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Baker told a Aberdeen Chronicle reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
