Connecticut Tigers starter Junior Taylor was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the West Virginia Black Bears, 7-2. The victory gives the Tigers a record of 28-15.

Connecticut needed the clutch hitting of Luis Aquino to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Tigers on top, 6-2. For the game, Aquino had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
