					| Lake Monsters Trounce Muckdogs, 15-3 |
					| Not everyone stuck through the 33-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.
The Vermont Lake Monsters met little resistance from the Batavia Muckdogs, beating them, 15-3, at Centennial Field. Ted Garland led the way. He was 4 for 5 with 4 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for Vermont. Manny Gómez picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 3-2.

Joe Britten, who leads the NYP in stolen bases with 10, chipped in a run-scoring single for Vermont in the bottom of the second. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 4 runs batted in.

"Ted raked," said Vermont manager Grant Green.
