The fans at Bowman Field witnessed quite a game.

Williamsport beat West Virginia on the strength of starter Baltesar Covilh's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 2-1. Williamsport is now 21-11, 3 games up in the Pinckney Division.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 2nd and one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when right fielder Ben Noble, who is tied for 9th in the NYP in total bases with 61, hit a run-scoring double. The Crosscutters went on to win.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Covilh said.
