The Batavia Muckdogs marched over the West Virginia Black Bears, 14-3, at Dwyer Stadium. Billy Stroud, who is tied for 8th in the NYP in runs scored with 25, led the charge. He was 4-5 with 4 singles and a walk, while scoring 2. The win was credited to Ron Wallace in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Reginald Clark took the loss. Batavia's winning streak has reached 8 games.

Don Ramsey helped out the Batavia cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a solo home run. For the game, the catcher hit 2 home runs.
