A 3-RBI performance from Toby Brewer helped the Brooklyn Cyclones beat the Vermont Lake Monsters, 7-5. The win hiked the Brooklyn record to 17-13.

The Cyclones got a big at-bat from right fielder Alec van Adrichem. For the game, van Adrichem went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 4th double of the season gave Brooklyn a 6-4 lead.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Brooklyn manager Tom Slater.
