Mahoning Valley first baseman Garry Hamilton had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Brooklyn Cyclones, 11-6. Clarence Hill went 5 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits. The right-hander struck out 6 and walked 2. With the win, he's now 1-2 this season. Mickael Roche earned the save, his 1st.

With Mahoning Valley leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Hamilton hit a splitter from Dave Barnett for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Scrappers ahead, 8-3.

"I try to not think too much," said Hamilton.
