Crosscutters 5-2 Victors Over Mahoning Valley

The Williamsport Crosscutters reigned over the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in damp conditions.
Williamsport turned a good effort from starter Jorge Jiménez into a win over the Mahoning Valley Scrappers at Bowman Field. The Crosscutters won the game, 5-2. The Crosscutters now have a record of 10-15 with the win over Mahoning Valley.
The Crosscutters got a big at-bat from first baseman Scotty Rohan. For the game, Rohan went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Williamsport a 2-0 lead.
"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Williamsport manager .
