Behind an impressive start by Enrico Flores, Vermont beat Auburn, 3-2. The Doubledays, at 6-15, have lost 5 straight games.

One significant plate appearance for Vermont came with no one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. Lake Monsters center fielder Pat Hall hit a solo home run, which helped his team go on to win.
