Tigers Win Thriller, 9-6
The Connecticut Tigers topped the Williamsport Crosscutters, 9-6, with catcher Randy Crabtree playing a big role. Crabtree went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Tigers in the win. The winner in relief was Jesús Flores. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. With the win, Connecticut upped its record to 10-8.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Crabtree hit a fastball from Daron Pittman for a 3-run home run. The Tigers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This place was rockin'," said Crabtree.
