Bowman Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Brooklyn Cyclones and Williamsport Crosscutters.

In a low-scoring contest between the Brooklyn Cyclones and the Williamsport Crosscutters, Ollie Benjamin was the X factor. The Brooklyn left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Benjamin picked up the win for Brooklyn, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 2-2. Herman Keefe recorded his 4th save for Brooklyn.

José Acevedo had a direct impact on the outcome. Acevedo contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the third inning to put Brooklyn up, 3-0.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Williamsport skipper .

The loss makes Williamsport 7-12.
