Spinners Lose, 4-0
|
Ánibal Loronha had a strong outing for the Tri-City ValleyCats against the Lowell Spinners at Edward A. LeLacheur Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-0 win. Lowell drops to 6-8.
Rubén Jiménez had a direct impact on the outcome. Jiménez contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Tri-City up, 1-0.
Said losing manager Tony Castillo: "Give the ValleyCats credit. They played a better game than we did."
