Brooklyn third baseman Sean Middleton contributed significantly to his team's 9-5 win over the Tri-City ValleyCats. Middleton went 2 for 5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Cyclones. The winner was Dave Barnett in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Jorge Colón took the loss. The win puts Brooklyn at 9-4.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Middleton delivered big-time for Brooklyn, stroking a dramatic solo home run off Jorge Colón. The game-changing hit put the Cyclones on top, 6-5.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Middleton.
