Tigers Rally For Late Win Over Doubledays
Connecticut Tigers starter José Cervantes was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Auburn Doubledays, 5-4. Yasunobu Hayagawa closed it out for his 2nd save. At 6-3, the Tigers have played well so far.

A key at-bat came in the top of the eighth inning. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, the batter, José Moreno, hit a sacrifice fly. It made the score 5-4, Connecticut, and helped them go on to win.

In comments to the Connecticut Observer, Cervantes admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
