Guardians Suffer One-Run Loss at Houston
The home crowd had a good time watching the Cleveland Guardians and Houston Astros get after it.

Houston pitcher Kevin Rogers did his part in helping his team beat the Cleveland Guardians, 3-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. By defeating Cleveland, the last-place Astros improved to 13-20.

Starlin Castro, who led the NL in hits with 207 in 2011, helped out the Houston cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk.

"Both teams played hard," said Houston manager Chris W. Carter.
